GUEST CURATOR: Carly Whitaker is an independent curator, researcher, artist, and lecturer based in Johannesburg, South Africa. She holds a BA Fine Arts, a MA in Digital Interactive Media, and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Reading in the UK focusing on curatorial networked methodologies in South Africa. Whitaker is currently the Curatorial Director of the The Mixed Realities Workshop (TMRW) Johannesburg.

CURATOR & PRODUCER: Marilène Oliver works at a crossroads between new digital technologies, traditional print and sculpture, her finished objects bridging the virtual and the real worlds. Oliver uses various scanning technologies, such as MRI and CT to reclaim the interior of the body and create art works that allow us to materially contemplate our increasingly digitised selves. Marilène Oliver is currently an assistant professor of printmaking at the University of Alberta, Canada where she leads the Dyscorpia research project as well as Know Thyself as a Virtual Reality.

DEVELOPER: Joshua Tokarsky is a 3D artist, programmer, and designer. His areas of expertise include 3D modeling, texture creation, motion graphics, and NLP systems. He has worked with artists and agencies from Canada, the UK, South Africa, Spain, Colombia, Cuba, Bolivia, and the USA. As a member of OMMATIDIUM STUDIOS Joshua has produced visual work for artists such as Bloodslide, Little Snake, and AVDUMMY. He has also performed and toured internationally as a sound artist, performing alongside acts such as Tim Hecker (4AD, Kranky), Mono (Temporary Residence Limited), Jessica Moss (Constellation Records), and Cindy Lee (CCQSK Records). Joshua currently works as a simulation engineer for automotive automated driving systems.
