In Machine Unlearning, the artist offers a neural conditioning treatment by whispering the unraveling outputs of an LSTM algorithm to the viewer. The combination of machine learning and ASMR draws parallels between autonomous algorithms and the autonomous functions of the human body.
Erin Gee
Erin Gee is a Canadian artist who explores contemporary communication through the metaphors of human voices in electronic bodies, using affective biosensors, VR, robotics, and ASMR to probe the autonomous materiality of sensory cognition, emotion, and empathy in human and non-human assemblages. Her work has shown internationally.
