Jamie-Lee Girodat

Jamie-Lee Girodat is originally from Medicine Hat, Alberta, but moved to the windy city of Lethbridge, Alberta as a teenager. She grew up waddling about, poking things, squinting and counting days, wondering what it would be like to be a cat. She collects stories, but despises birthdays, searching for a way to slow the inevitable. Now, pursuing an MFA in Printmaking she looks at her bunions with curiosity and questions how many generations they’ll survive.
