Self Reflection (foot smell 26)
Self Reflection (foot smell 26) investigates how, through the necessity of a renewed vigor of visual communication over social media platforms, Selene Huff can foster formal visual discourse between her body and her sculpture using digital space.
Selene Huff
Selene Huff is pursuing an M.F.A. in sculpture at the University of Alberta. Her work focuses on how formal choices impact visual communication as mediated through human experience. Huff manipulates new and repurposed steel into formal sculptures that become meditations on how her body moves through space and interacts with other physical entities. She views her sculptures as a means of reflecting, distorting and simplifying experiences of human reality in order to forge a connection between artist and viewer.
